Hetrick will provide a comprehensive overview of federal and state requirements for selling products such as raw meat, dairy, eggs, baked goods, cottage foods, fruits and vegetables, honey, and more. Drawing on the Ohio Farm Bureau’s Small-Scale Food Business Guide, she will help you understand the steps necessary to stay compliant and bring your products to market with confidence.

A Perrysburg, Ohio native, Hetrick has built a career at the intersection of agriculture and law. Before joining the Ohio Farm Bureau staff in 2023, she served as chief legal assistant to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose. She holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo.
