The Hamilton County Farm Bureau is hosting a Legislative Luncheon district meeting from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27. The luncheon will take place in the Bob Hope Room at Montgomery Inn The Boathouse: 925 Riverside Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Join legislators, county leaders, and Ohio Farm Bureau members for a delicious lunch, good company, and updates on the local agriculture industry. The topic will be ‘Defining Food Labeling’ with Ohio Farm Bureau’s Leah Hetrick, director of legal education and member engagement.

Join us for an engaging session on food labeling, designed to help consumers, producers, and community members better understand what’s behind the labels we see every day. This presentation will introduce the purpose of food labeling and explain why clear, accurate information matters for both shoppers and agricultural producers. Attendees will also learn how misleading or unclear claims are regulated, along with practical tips and resources for interpreting food labels and making informed choices.

If you are interested in attending please RSVP HERE or contact the Hamilton County Farm Bureau office at 513-831-5870 or [email protected] by Friday, Feb. 20, to confirm your reservation. Should your organization require that you pay for lunches, please remit to Hamilton County Farm Bureau.

Farm Bureau members will receive their meal at no charge. We look forward to seeing you on Feb. 27. Thank you in advance for your participation and commitment to the farmers of Hamilton County!
