The Ohio Farm Transition Network is hosting a series of regional, one‑day professional trainings designed to build a unified, statewide approach to farm transition planning. These sessions bring together the full spectrum of agricultural service providers, attorneys, accountants, lenders, financial advisors, insurance professionals, Extension educators, and others to deepen expertise, strengthen collaboration, and elevate the quality of transition support available to Ohio farm families.
Participants will gain practical, relevant guidance on farm succession, legal structures, tax considerations, and financial planning tools, along with a lender’s perspective. The training is open to both members and nonmembers, making it an ideal opportunity to expand your professional network and align your work with emerging best practices. See the agenda.
Anchored in OFTN’s mission to strengthen the future of Ohio agriculture by providing comprehensive, consistent, and accessible farm transition planning resources that empower farm families to navigate transition challenges and preserve their legacies, while ensuring the sustainability and vitality of Ohio’s farming communities, this program equips you with standardized terminology and best practices to improve the quality and reliability of transition planning services.
Participation in this training program is available to both members and non-members. The attendance fee is $100, and registration closes two weeks ahead each respective training.
