Landowners with abandoned wells on their property that no longer have an owner are invited and encouraged to attend an informational meeting where Jason Simmerman, Orphan Well Program Manager for ODNR, will discuss orphan wells and the opportunities for landowners to have orphan wells plugged by the state.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at Mid-East Career Center 57090 Vocational Road, Senecaville, Ohio.
There is no charge and all are welcome to attend the event being arranged by the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Royalty Owners in conjunction with Guernsey, Monroe and Noble County Farm Bureaus. Further information can be obtained by calling 740-425-3681.
