The Scioto County Farm Bureau is excited to host their annual Ag Adventures Day May 6 at the Scioto County Fairgrounds, welcoming all fourth-grade students from Scioto County for a hands-on day of agricultural discovery.
Ag Adventures Day is designed to introduce young learners to the importance of agriculture in their daily lives. Students will rotate through interactive learning stations that highlight farming, food production, environmental stewardship, and the role agriculture plays in our local communities. Through engaging activities and demonstrations, students will gain a better understanding of where their food comes from and the many careers connected to agriculture.
In addition to the hands-on experiences, students were invited to participate in a T-shirt Design Contest leading up to the event. The winning design will be featured on the official Ag Adventures Day T-shirt—and every student attending will receive a FREE T-shirt printed with the winning artwork. This special keepsake helps students remember their day on the farm while celebrating creativity and agriculture. This educational event is made possible through the support of local farmers, volunteers, and community partners who are passionate about agricultural literacy and youth education.
Please note: This is a closed event for registered fourth-grade classes in Scioto County and is not open to the public.
