Did you know approximately 45% of Ohioans and nearly all (98%) of Geauga County residents rely on groundwater wells to provide a constant supply of clean, safe drinking water?

A presentation will take place Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at the Geauga County Public Library Administrative Center covering Geauga County’s groundwater resources and ways to maintain your well to safeguard your home’s drinking water supply. This free program is open to the public and will feature an overview of groundwater in Geauga County, each of our roles in maintaining water wells, the importance of testing and helpful resources.

Those who register and attend this program will receive a FREE total coliform bacteria drinking water test! (Limited quantity, one per household, some restrictions apply.)

Register by March 4.
