Kenny Walter has devoted his life to family, friends and Farm Bureau. A charismatic leader with a contagious laugh, Kenny enriched many lives in the rural and agricultural communities he served during his 34-year Farm Bureau career. “I loved every moment of every day in working with people” is how he summed up his career. Now Kenny’s family wants to extend and honor his generous spirit by setting up a scholarship fund for the next generation of agricultural leaders.

The Kenny Walter Scholarship Fund will be awarded to students pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture who come from a Farm Bureau family in the 29 northeastern counties Kenny covered as a regional supervisor and organization director. The goal is to raise $25,000 and your help is needed. By donating to this scholarship, you’ll help students with their agricultural education and inspire them to pay it forward in their communities.

  1. I served on the FBY State Youth Committee in the late 80s/early 90s. As I was from the Northeast region, we saw each other often. He was such a kind and dear man. I was always happy to see him! He had a way of making you feel at ease. There always was and still is a special place in the Wilson family’s heart for Ken and Susie. I am so sorry for your loss.
