This Ohio Farm Bureau-AGGPAC Election Guide is designed to help members become voters who have a good idea where their elected officials stand on issues that impact agriculture and rural communities when they cast their ballot this fall.
Ohio Farm Bureau’s unique process of screening candidates and reviewing incumbents in all legislative races not only creates conversations but also builds relationships and creates paths for policy to turn into legislation that impacts all Ohioans.
Members take the time to sit down with candidates across the political spectrum to share members’ concerns and issues, and also give those candidates the platform to share their ideas. Ohio Farm Bureau is one of the only statewide organizations where all 132 seats are up for discussion by our local members.
Farm Bureau members from across the state have been diligent and thorough in recommending those who have been named a Friend of Agriculture in the congressional races and in the Ohio Senate and House.
Here is a detailed explanation about how the candidates earn this desirable recognition. When deciding who to vote for, please take this designation into consideration.
More detailed responses to questions about rural Ohio’s most important issues will be available at farmvotesmatter.org.
