Who can attend the 2025 Winter Leadership Experience?

In the past, Winter Leadership Experience was offered exclusively for Young Ag Professional Ohio Farm Bureau members (ages 18-35). Unique this year, all Ohio Farm Bureau are welcome at Winter Leadership Experience! This expanded event opportunity allows YAP members to invite decision makers from their farm or business to learn alongside them at the conference. No matter your season in life, you won’t want to miss the high caliber educational breakout sessions and premier networking opportunity! 

Can a non-Farm Bureau member attend with me?

Winter Leadership Experience is one of many benefits offered exclusively for Ohio Farm Bureau members. Individuals who are not yet members but would like to attend the conference may join online here or contact their county Farm Bureau about joining. 

Is a hotel included with my registration?

No, hotel rooms are not included with conference registration. You must book hotel accommodations separately by visiting ofb.org/KALAHARI. Be sure to book by January 7 so you can take advantage of our discounted rate of $204 per night while supplies last. Each hotel room includes four complementary water park passes.

What is included with the child registration?

The child registration includes all conference meals and events. Kids in grades K-6 who are registered for the conference are invited to participate in Future YAP Club programming which includes a movie night during Friday’s evening entertainment and agricultural literacy activities during each of the Saturday breakout sessions.

Do I need to register additional family and guests who are coming with me to Kalahari but not attending the conference?

If your family members and guests would like to be included in conference meals, be sure to register them for a general YAP registration. If your family members and guests will not be joining you for any conference programming or meals, then they do not need a conference registration. 

What portions of the conference require pre-registration?

In addition to purchasing your conference registration be sure to ‘pre-register’ if you plan to attend the pesticide and fertilizer applicator continuing education session or one of the three extended learning sessions offered Friday afternoon. Conference t-shirts are also available via pre-sale only with proceeds benefiting ExploreAg.

Where should I park and plan to check-in at Kalahari?

After conference registration closes, all registered attendees will receive an email with final details including arrival logistics.
