New for 2024!

As part of the 2024 Winter Leadership Experience, members can take the following classes to complete the necessary hours to meet the requirements for CPR certification, Beef Quality Assurance certification and Workers’ Compensation Group Rating safety requirements.

Young Ag Professionals

CPR Training

During this session, attendees will learn the importance of CPR. According to the American Red Cross, CPR increases the likelihood of surviving cardiac arrest, when the heart stops beating or beats too ineffectively to circulate blood to the brain and other vital organs. It’s not just for health care workers and emergency responders. CPR can double or triple the chance of survival when bystanders take action. The Red Cross helps train you safely, effectively and confidently so you’re prepared for the moments that matter.

Beef Quality Assurance

Beef Quality Assurance program has evolved to include best practices around cattle handling, facility management, cattle transportation, good record keeping and protecting herd health, which all result in better outcomes for cattle and producers. Today, having an active BQA certification is more important than ever because the full beef supply chain is leveraging the program to ensure our commitment to food safety, cattle well-being, and beef quality.
