Clermont County Farm Bureau is offering up to three (3) $1000 scholarships to 2019 Clermont County, Ohio high school graduate(s) who will be attending an institution of higher education and majoring in an agricultural field. It is not necessary that the applicant have a farm background. As long as the parents/guardians of the student are members of the Clermont County Farm Bureau, the student is eligible.
Science and chemistry or vocational agriculture education majors will also be considered. Preference will be given to agriculture, animal science, horticulture, science and chemistry majors, and education majors specializing in the above areas of study. Evaluation of the applicants will be based on academic achievement, school / community activities and demonstration of leadership.
Applications can be obtained through local high schools’ guidance counselors offices. To obtain a scholarship, applicants must send a completed application, a copy of their high school transcript and a wallet-size photo to the Clermont County Farm Bureau, PO Box 288, Georgetown, OH 45121. All applications must be received by 4 p.m., March 28, 2019.
