Steve Lucic is a resident of Hamden, Ohio with his wife, Lynne Marie, and their three children Hannah, Ian and Paige. He is a graduate of St. Joseph High School and then went on to attend Mercyhurst University. Steve also attended the Auburn Career Center to receive paramedic training as well as the Ohio Fire Academy, where he became a firefighter.

When he is not busy being a firefighter and paramedic, he also has a small cow-calf operation and raises pork and lamb for private sale. Steve has been a Farm Bureau member for 10 years and has been part of the Lake County board of trustees for five years. He is very involved in Farm Bureau by volunteering at various events, serving as the previous treasurer for two years, and was a delegate for the state annual meeting.

“I support the mission statement of the Farm Bureau. I feel it’s important for farming and our future generations,” he said.

An interesting fact about Steve is that he is the owner of Revive-It LLC.

We thank you for your dedication to being a first responder as well as your dedication to Lake County Farm Bureau.

To grow a network and gain perspective and knowledge in the industry through personal and professional development has been invaluable. Every day I learn and grow.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
