Fair Food Stand sign-up Aug. 18-26

It’s FAIR TIME!
The Allen County Fair is Aug, 19-26 and we are looking for
volunteers to help us in the Allen County Farm Bureau Food Stand! There are two shifts each day: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Everyone who volunteers gets a single-day ticket to get into the fairgrounds, one free food item, and one free bottled beverage during the time that you work.

You are not required to be an Allen County Farm Bureau member to work a shift! 4-H clubs and FFA chapters will receive a donation if at least five volunteers over the age of 14 work their assigned shift!

If a business or elected official would like to work, you would receive a “shout-out” on our four-county Facebook page and the chance to place relevant literature/promotional items out on the dining tables.

If you would like to sign up for a shift you can either click on this LINK, you can call our office at 877-775-7642!

See you at the fair!

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
