Read MorePresident Miranda Miser conducted the Guernsey County Farm Bureau annual meeting of members on Thursday, Aug. 3 at Mr. Lee’s Restaurant in Cambridge. At this meeting, the members voted on proposed policies and selected trustees for the Board of Trustees as well as delegates to the Ohio Farm Bureau 2024 Annual Meeting.
Several elected officials were present for comments including Congressman Troy Balderson, State Rep. Adam Holmes as well as County Commissioner Dave Wilson.
Policy issues included EPA regulation concerns and foreign country property sales. All proposed policies were approved.
Anna Hodges was recognized for her past years serving as membership chairman. Kathi Albertson was recognized for her past years of service as public policy team leader, and Tiffany Smith received the President’s Award. Pictured is Anna Hodges; Albertson and Smith were not in attendance.
