Read MoreAug. 30, Greene County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting at the Jasper Hills Golf Course. The meal for the evening was provided by them as well. Entertainment was provided by Joel Hogle. Daniel Jones was recognized as the new inductee into the Greene County Farm Bureau Hall of Fame. Danny has served the Greene County agriculture community for 60 years being a full-time grain farmer and past hog and feeder calf farmer. Members also got to hear a few words from District 19 State Trustee Nicol Reiterman. She discussed the changes being made as far as membership and what the Ohio Farm Bureau plans to do in order to meet the needs of all members in the future. Toward the end of the meeting, Katrina Held announced she was stepping down as county president. Jim Percival was then named as the new Greene County Farm Bureau president.
