The Washington County Soil and Water Conservation District held its annual Farm City Day on Oct. 5 and 6 at Hartline Dairy Farm in Marietta. About 700 fifth graders from around the county visited the farm. Topics presented were ag products, calves, crops and equipment, milking, feed and nutrition, manure, soil science, weights and measures, and water quality.
