Butler Hamilton Montgomery Preble counties Ohio

Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery and Preble County Farm Bureaus are pleased to announce their newly hired Membership Marketing Specialist Elliana Hurst.

In her role, Hurst will provide leadership and development of member projects. She will work with county leaders to provide direction on county program development and implementation. In addition, she will be responsible for assisting in the enhancement of relationships with Nationwide, legislators, governmental agencies, agribusinesses, local businesses, affinity partners and other community groups.

Hurst is a resident of Lewisburg, Ohio and a 2023 Graduate of Twin Valley South High School. She currently is working on her associates degree at Edison State Community College, majoring in agricultural communications and marketing. Hurst was a past Twin Valley South FFA member, acting as president and treasurer as well as leading several committees. Her past roles in retail and customer service at the Rodeo Shop in Eaton, Ohio and at Co-Alliance in Richmond, Indiana have given her skills that are important to her role at Farm Bureau.

We are excited to have Elliana’s experience. Her belief in the role that agriculture plays within our community aligns her with our Farm Bureau mission: “Working together for Ohio farmers to advance agriculture and strengthen our communities.”

Please help us welcome Elliana Hurst to our team at Farm Bureau.

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
