Fayette County Farm Bureau was one of the 24 counties in the country to earn the County Activities of Excellence Award from American Farm Bureau. The county’s Farm to Fork Goes to Town program stems from the annual Farm to Fork event. This past year, they decided to have it in town in order for locals to gain an insight about agriculture and the role it plays in the community.
During a mix-and-mingle, individuals were able to travel to seven different stations to learn about products that would later be used in creating their own butter board. Each station was hosted by local agricultural producers. Proceeds from this benefit helped in supporting the local FFA chapter.
Fayette County Farm Bureau was recognized for their accomplishments at the Ohio Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. In January, they had the opportunity to travel to Salt Lake City for the American Farm Bureau Federation Convention. Members are pictured with AFBF President Zippy Duvall.
