Way Farms sponsors Young Ag members
This donation helps the youth in our community be able to be a member of Farm Bureau and continue to support agriculture!
Read MorePike County Farm Bureau has been honored with a national award from American Farm Bureau for its innovative Ag Career Connections program. This accolade is part of the prestigious County Activities of Excellence, a recognition earned by only 24 counties across the United States, highlighting the outstanding contributions and impact of the program.
Receiving the CAE award is a significant achievement for Pike County members, underscoring the dedication and hard work of the volunteers and organizers. This recognition not only celebrates the program’s success but also paves the way for sharing the best practices and strategies with other states, fostering a collaborative spirit within the agricultural community.
The Ag Career Connections program is designed to bridge the gap between students and the agricultural industry, providing valuable insights and opportunities for young individuals interested in pursuing careers in agriculture. Through interactive workshops, industry partnerships, and hands-on experiences, the program equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in various agricultural careers. Additionally, the program was made possible by an Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation grant.
