Georgetown High School’s agricultural science teacher and FFA advisor, Jamie Loudon, has been recognized as a 2025 Golden Owl Award honoree. In a surprise ceremony, Loudon was celebrated for his dedication to agricultural education and his impact on students. During his acceptance speech, he encouraged students to always do their best.
“You never know what your potential is until you actually try. Let’s continue increasing agriculture education and make a difference in the world,” he said.
Principal Taylor Cox praised him as a “humble champion of agriculture,” emphasizing his tireless commitment to shaping future agricultural leaders. As one of 10 honorees across Ohio, Loudon’s FFA chapter will receive $1,500 and he will be considered for the title of Ohio’s Agricultural Educator of the Year.
