Family Fun Day – Over 900 joined us at the Akron Zoo!

 

 

 

 

Developed Educational Opportunities
Created our first Member for Members discount card! Thanks to all of the businesses that participated – we are planning to do it again in 2022!

 

 

 

Other activities included: Ashland County Drive-It-Yourself Farm Tour, Ashland County Fair T-shirt giveaway (thanks to our additional four sponsors that make this project possible), scholarship program, safety meeting, FFA FunVention event, Buy Local Directory, and tours at Geig’s Orchard and the Countyline Produce Auction for the Young Ag Professionals.

 

Served as Advocates for Members’ Grassroots in Action – Over 15 policy development survey responses were collected that ultimately resulted in one policy proposal at this year’s annual meeting! Other activities included: President’s trip to DC, AgWeek visits with legislators, and policy development breakfast with community leaders

 

 

Ag Toy Drive – Over $11,000 in ag toys were given to Ashland’s Associated Charities, Medina Toys for Tots, and Wayne Toys for Tots.

 

Gave Back to Our Local Community

Grain bin rescue facility’s donor reception – the Wayne County Regional Training Facility has completed three course descriptions for trainings available at the grain bin rescue facility.
