New this year, we hosted a Young Ag Professionals event June 16. Anyone ages 18-35 who farms or works in the agricultural field within Paulding County could stop by the Extension office meeting room and enjoy cookies, drinks, socialize with other area agricultural professionals, and learn more about opportunities available through Ohio Farm Bureau and the Young Ag Professionals.
Then on Saturday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. was the Farmer Share Breakfast located in the Farm Bureau Building. Breakfast was served until gone and attendees were able to watch and listen to the livestock sale from the patio. Later from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Kids Dream Day was held at the race track. Fair pictures, daily schedules, event recaps and updates were posted to the Farm Bureau Facebook page by our media interns, Bethany Klopfenstein and Jamy Hunt.
