As 2022 shortly comes to a close, the Brown County Farm Bureau reflects and highlights key events that have happened throughout the past year to make it one to remember! Some of these events included but aren’t limited to:

  • Had Young Ag Professionals attend the Winter Leadership Experience (Read More)
  • Giving back to our community through our local food bank, feeding farmers, and more! (Read More)
  • Having our board trustees attend Ag Day at the Capital in February (Read More)
  • Our in-person workers’ compensation meeting (Read More)
  • Hosting our public policy meeting (Read More)
  • Closing out the 2022 membership season (Read More)
  • Awarded scholarships to high school graduates of the 2022 class (Read More)
  • Hosted our farm tour in partnership with OSU Extension (Read More)
  • Held our 2022 Brown County Annual Meeting (Read More)
  • Welcomed Darcy Howser to our Brown County board (Read More)
  • Partnered with Paul Hall and Associates to provide 4-H exhibitors a dinner during fair week (Read More), participated in a Cloverbud event (Read More), and gave back to those exhibitors by putting money toward their projects (Read More)
  • Hosted our second annual Trunk or Treat event (Read More)
  • Kicked off the 2023 membership season with a Christmas party (Read More)

Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.
