To purchase a raffle ticket, contact our office at 330-456-4889 or email us at stark@ofbf.org.
By participating, you agree that:
1. All net proceeds of this raffle will benefit the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation (OFB Foundation), an Ohio non-profit corporation, recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
2. Raffle tickets will be sold for $20 apiece. Ticket sales will be ongoing until September 12, 2023 at 7:59 p.m. or until all 450 tickets have been sold, whichever occurs first.
3. Each ticket will be entered separately in the drawing. Each ticket has a separate and equal chance of winning as prizes are being drawn. Chance of winning is one divided by the number of tickets sold. There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets a participant may purchase. A participant is eligible to win more than one prize drawing.
4. Raffle prizes will be drawn in the following order:
1st Prize: Ruger 26986 350 Legend with Burris 1in Zee Rings and a Vortex 3-9×50 Scope (value $840)
2nd Prize: Traeger Grill Pro 575 & Meat Bundle ($500)
3rd Prize: Backyard BBQ and a Band for 20 people ($500)
4th Prize: $250 gift card to Gervasi Vineyards ($250)
5. If fewer than 343 tickets are sold, all prizes will convert to cash prizes. Each prize will be reduced proportionally so the sum of all prizes awarded equals 33% of all tickets sold.
6. The winners will be selected at the Stark County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on September 12, 2023, through a random drawing to be held at 8 p.m.
7. Winners need not be present to win. If not present, the winner will be notified by telephone or mail.
8. Participants must be at least 18 years old and residents of the state of Ohio on the date of the drawing. Prize winners must produce photo identification including proof of Ohio residency and age when claiming their prizes. Winners have 30 days from the date of the raffle drawing to claim their prizes, or else they shall forfeit all rights and claims thereto.
9. A prize winner must be at least 18 years of age to win a long gun. The gun must be picked up in person by the prize winner at Fin Feather Fur Outfitters, a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer, within 10 days of the applicable drawing. All applicable Federal and State laws will apply. All Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) rules apply. If a prize winner does not meet applicable age or background requirements or transferring the firearm to the prize winner would violate any applicable law, the equivalent cash prize will be substituted and awarded in place of the firearm.”
10. Tickets may be purchased through participating county Farm Bureau by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation.
11. Due to postal regulations, raffle ticket stubs cannot be mailed.
12. The cost of raffle tickets purchased is not tax deductible. Prizes may be taxable to the winner. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. Please consult your tax advisor.
13. Ticket sales to OFB Foundation employees, officers, board members, and their immediate families are prohibited. Immediate family includes spouse, children, and children’s spouse.
14. Any person who engages in conduct designed to corrupt the outcome of a charitable gaming activity with the purpose to defraud, or knowing that he is facilitating a fraud, is subject to criminal prosecution under all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
15. The OFB Foundation reserves the right to cancel this raffle at any time, in which event its liability is limited to the refund of ticket prices to participants.
16. These official rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented except by the OFB Foundation.
