Monday, May 20, students at Georgetown Elementary took an educational journey into the world of agriculture during their much-anticipated Elementary Ag Day. The kindergarten class traded their desks for the outdoors to participate in learning discussions and interact with various aspects of farm life.
With over 15 stations set up, the event provided an immersive experience for all. At one station, students gathered around to learn about the inner workings of a cow’s stomach. Another station took a look into the importance of grain in agriculture, sparking interest about the crops that sustain our food supply.
