2023 Union County Fair

Union County Farm BureauUnion County Farm Bureau & America’s Trusted Insurance Group started a project in 2021 where we present free T-shirts to Union County Fair & Richwood Independent Fair Jr. Fair exhibitors. This will be the third year for the project, and we know the kids are looking forward to it again this year.

This is a great way to support the exhibitors, and the kids will wear their new shirts at the fair and throughout the year.

We would like to provide local businesses the opportunity to collaborate with us and advertise on the back of the shirt. We are hoping to raise $6,000 to ensure every exhibitor receives a shirt. Please consider a gift of $250 or more because the kids deserve our support! This will get your logo placed on the back of the shirt.

To submit a sponsorship, print this form and mail to the Union County Farm Bureau office PO Box 368 Hilliard, OH 43026. Check is the preferred method of payment, but you can call the office at 800-451-8908 to pay by credit card over the phone. Kindly respond by June 3, 2024.

Please submit your business logo to [email protected]

The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Giving farmers a voice
The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Finding farm labor
I appreciate the benefit of having a strong voice in my corner. The extras that are included in membership are wonderful, but I'm a member because of the positive impact to my local and state agricultural communities.

Strong communities
We work terrifically with the Ashtabula County Farm Bureau, hosting at least one to two outreach town hall events every year to educate new farmers and existing farmers on traditional CAUV and woodlands.

CAUV: Past, present and future
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
