Anya is the daughter of Todd and Regan Demshar of Concord Township. Anya receives $1,000 and is attending Wilmington College, as a junior, majoring in agriculture with a focus in animal science with minors in pre-vet, biology and chemistry. Anya is working toward her goal of being a veterinarian and has begun the process of applying for veterinary school.
Paige, a $750 scholarship recipient, is the daughter of Steve and Lynne Lucic of Chardon. She is attending the University of Findlay majoring in exercise science for health professionals and minoring in strength and conditioning and is working on a graduate program to earn a doctorate in physical therapy. Paige is interested in teaching others about the importance of agriculture and hopes to be an advisor in 4-H.
