Athens-Meigs County donates welding equipment to local FFA chapters

The Athens-Meigs County Farm Bureau held Dinner on the Farm in 2024. With the funds raised from this event, they were able to donate welding equipment to Southern FFA and Federal Hocking FFA.
The Athens-Meigs Farm Bureau has hosted Dinner on the Farm in the fall for the last two years. The purpose behind this event is to raise money to give back to the youth within Athens and Meigs counties, whether that is with scholarships, items needed for FFA chapters, or other various youth projects.
With the funds raised from the dinners, they were able to donate welding safety equipment to two local FFA Chapters. Each Chapter received three new welding helmets, six new welding jackets, six new sets of welding gloves and four boxes of welding rods.
Southern FFA and Federal Hocking FFA have already begun to use the equipment! We are looking forward to all of their future projects.
