Recently the Pike County Farm Bureau invited county and state elected officials to sit down, have breakfast, and discuss what policies are important in Pike County. Officials spoke about what they felt could be done in the county to help farmers and consumers. Public Policy Action Team Leader Dan Corcoran spoke on behalf of the board of trustees and will take everything back to the policy development committee to write policies that will be voted on at the Pike County Farm Bureau Annual meeting in August.
