Every farm is looking to save money on energy costs. AEP would like to help. AEP has designed a program for Ohio’s agricultural customers across the state. According to Dale Arnold, OFBF director of energy, utility, and local government policy said, “Next to labor, energy is the largest single expense for farm and agribusiness operations.” AEP Ohio is offering rebates to customers who take advantage of making the changes they need to be more energy efficient. Changes can include updated lighting, ventilation, motors, fans and overall equipment used in the agricultural industry.

Contact your Ag Energy Advisor to schedule a walkthrough where you can identify potential energy-saving improvements on your farm. For more information visit  http://AEPOhio.com/ag

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
