Seafood is a nutritionally balanced food. This sauteed salmon is quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 2 fresh salmon steaks, 6 to 8 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 thin slices fresh lemon

Directions

Heat oil in skillet on medium heat. Add salmon steaks. Combine butter, soy sauce and garlic. Baste salmon. Cook about 5 minutes. Turn, baste again, place lemon slices on top and cook until salmon flakes easily – about 10 minutes.
