Salt, a little spice and lots of crunch make this an irresistible treat. Pair with our Maple Bourbon Splash for a great Happy Hour with friends.
Makes 6 servingsIngredients
- 5 cups popped popcorn
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 cup Craisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt butter in small pan over low heat. Add all spices and cook, stirring, 30 seconds. Stir in maple syrup. Toss together popcorn and pecans. Pour butter and spice mixture over popcorn and pecans; mix to coat. Spread mixture on rimmed baking sheet and bake, stirring every 10 minutes. Bake about 30 minutes until nuts are toasted and mix is dry. Let cool and toss with Craisins.
