Belmont County Farm Bureau will be hosting a meal packing event Saturday, Nov. 22 starting at noon, and Sunday, Nov. 23 starting at 1 p.m. at Ickes Family Life Center, 67880 Friends Church Rd, St Clairsville.
This backpack food program provides food for needy students to take home for the weekend. The meals will be used by seven schools in Belmont County that have expressed a need: Barnesville, Bellaire, Bridgeport, Martins Ferry, Shadyside, St Clairsville, and Union Local.
All individuals or groups are welcome to come and participate at the packaging event. It will be an amazing and life-changing opportunity to help hungry kids have a hot meal to eat.
