The debate about property taxes regarding increasing rates, the need for reform and proposals for the elimination of property taxes altogether has many Farm Bureau members asking questions about how the organization is engaged. In response, Ohio Farm Bureau will be hosting a series of member-exclusive webinars around property taxes, including a review of current OFBF policy, how property taxes affect school districts and a deep dive into CAUV.
All three webinars will feature Jack Irvin, vice president of public policy, and Leah Curtis, associate general counsel.
The first webinar on current OFBF policy will take place Wednesday, May 13 at 9 a.m. This webinar also will be recorded and available to members on the OFBF website. Dates and details on the next two webinars are forthcoming.
