The Jackson‑Vinton Farm Bureau is partnering with OSU Extension Jackson County and NAMI Southern Ohio to host this year’s Quality Assurance (QA) Training March 4 from 6–8:30 p.m. at Parks Edge Event Center in Jackson.
This annual training provides the required QA certification for 4‑H and FFA members preparing to exhibit livestock at the Jackson County Fair. In addition to meeting fair requirements, the program helps youth build responsible animal care practices and deepen their understanding of livestock management.
By working together, Farm Bureau, OSU Extension and NAMI Southern Ohio are also creating space to support the well‑being of young exhibitors and their families—recognizing that a strong agricultural community includes both healthy animals and healthy people.
