Developed for young and mid-career farmers and ag professionals, this session will help to provide answers on how best to prepare for retirement.
John and Sarah operate Bolte Farms, a small grain farm as well as a pumpkin operation, and the produce is sold at their roadside stand. They are members of the Young Agricultural Professionals State Committee.
The expansion of the H2Ohio initiative, created to ensure safe and clean water for all Ohioans, now includes Crawford, Erie, Huron, Marion, Ottawa, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Shelby and Wyandot counties.
The opportunity to get to know people from across the state better and learning about their involvement in agriculture and Farm Bureau is what the Boltes have enjoyed most about their YAP state committee experience so far.
H2Ohio is now open to farmers in Crawford, Erie, Huron, Marion, Ottawa, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Shelby and Wyandot counties.

Nomination forms are to be completed and returned to the Seneca County Farm Bureau office by May 14.
Applications are due to the county office by April 2, 2021.
