Over three days, participants will hear from experts and, in turn, voice their thoughts on topics as far reaching as the farm bill to trade to taxes.
Read MoreI hope everyone is having a fun and safe summer! I have been very busy this summer working for Auglaize County Farm Bureau. I have had the privilege to attend board meetings as well as meet many people that make this organization run smoothly and efficiently. On top of attending meetings and meeting new people, I have also been busy planning numerous events for members as well nonmembers.
Currently, I am working on planning an event with Green Thumb Market and Café. The details are still being worked out; however, this event will be a great night for parents to get out of the house! Wine, beer, entertainment, and appetizers is a preview of what this fun, exhilarating night will consist of! Make sure to check back to see more details about this event.
Also, I am working with our County Office Administrator, Joy Aufderharr, to design T-shirts that will be distributed during the Auglaize County Fair, which will be held July 29- Aug. 4. We will be handing out t-shirts to 4-H and FFA members on Monday, July 30. Be sure to keep an eye out around the fairgrounds for exhibitors to be wearing these!
I am honored to be a part of all of the summer planning during my internship, and hope to see you all at the fair!
