This is the first year of recertification for fertilizer applicators – those who do not have a pesticide license but took the fertilizer certification class in 2014 are up for a one hour renewal course this year. For persons with a pesticide license, you can recertify when your pesticide applicator license is up for renewal.
The schedule for recertification opportunities in the tri-county area are as follows:
To locate other recertification opportunities across Ohio, visit pested.osu.edu. Costs for recertification classes are to cover OSU Extension program costs and do not include the $30 fee to the Ohio Department of Agriculture, which is mailed separately. Have questions about getting a pesticide license or fertilizer applicator certification? Contact Erika Lyon at 740-264- 2212 ext. 203.
