Read MoreRecently, Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau hosted over 550 second grade students at the OARDC Research Farm in Jackson. Students had the chance to visit many different stations including alpacas, beef, pork, cow milking, aquaculture bracelets, goats, horses, soybean necklaces, and many more. Students also competed in a “Design a T-Shirt Contest” to have their design on the front of all the T-shirts that are given to all students, teachers, and presenters. Oak Hill FFA students along with Jackson FFA and the Iron Ladies Basketball teams served as guides to help teachers and students move from station to station, as well as serving as presenters. We would like to thank our gracious sponsors. Without them, our event wouldn’t be possible. To see more pictures from our event check out our Facebook Page.
