One key result from the recent Farm, Food and Agribusiness COVID-19 Impact Survey indicated that finding personal protection equipment to protect or guard against the COVID-19 virus has been difficult, whether for an individual’s use or that of ag business operations.
Ohio Farm Bureau wants to provide the following resources that may be useful.
- The Ohio Manufacturers Association and its partners have launched a website to help find PPE sellers. This website is like a “trading post,” facilitating contact between PPE makers and sellers and prospective buyers
- Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has created a PPE Exchange dashboard that offers a place for buyers and sellers in the private sector to connect. FEMA does not endorse any vendors, and users enter their own information and update as needed.

The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.
