Recently there has been a string of trespassing on Mahoning County farms. These trespassers have been letting livestock out of their enclosures and causing them to be put in harm’s way on our roadways. Some livestock have already been lost due to these incidents.
A $5,000 reward will be paid to anyone providing information to law enforcement that leads to the arrest and conviction of persons for eligible property crimes committed against a county Farm Bureau member’s property. For the reward to be paid, the person providing information, the Farm Bureau member, and the crime must meet certain eligibility criteria and all terms and conditions of this program. Full program details are available here.
Additionally, the Mahoning County Farm Bureau will offer an additional $1000 reward to anyone providing information to law enforcement that leads to the arrest and conviction of persons for crimes committed to any property owner in the county regardless of membership with our organization.
