Read MoreThe Pickaway County Farm Bureau and Pickaway County Soil and Water teamed up again this year for the annual Ag Day event at the fairgrounds on Sept. 30. Approximately 850 4th graders attended the event and were instructed on various agricultural topics by more than 150 FFA students. Livestock, soils, farm equipment, crops, and agricultural careers were all part of the day’s activities. Katerina Sharp, Pickaway County Farm Bureau board member, as well as the program specialist for the Pickaway Soil and Water Conservation District, chaired the event.
