Meet Hamilton County Trustee Michael A. Frederick DVM

Dr. Michael Frederick has been a Farm Bureau member for 20 years and has served on the Hamilton County board of trustees for many of them. His hope for the future of agriculture is that “urban counties can adapt, survive, and gain support from less rural populations.”

Dr. Mike, as he’s affectionately known, has been a large animal veterinarian in Hamilton County for 45 years. He currently has a small horse operation of 5 acres with five beautiful horses.

Twenty years ago, Dr. Frederick was recruited by a Farm Bureau member, and has been serving Hamilton County in many capacities ever since. Currently, he co-leads the Organization Action Team, but he also has served as the county board vice president, and in 2012 was awarded the Hamilton County Farm Bureau’s Outstanding Service Award.

Hamilton County wouldn’t be the same without him….THANKS DR. MIKE!
