Read MoreThe Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau held its 7th Annual Breakfast with Santa event Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. The event was free to the public and featured live animals, Santa and his carriage, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch. Upon arrival, the Grinch met the attendees. Then families received a free breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and milk, while visiting Mrs. Claus and the Grinch in the 4-H building. After finishing breakfast, a reindeer food station was available for children to make their own reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve. After a short walk down to the barns, families were able to pet all of the animals. As they approached Santa, they were able to get a picture taken with him and his carriage.
There were so many smiling faces and lots of community support for the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau Breakfast with Santa at the fairgrounds! We truly appreciate all of our FFA kids, local businesses that donated, animal exhibitors, and all of our Farm Bureau volunteers! Without you all, this free event for our community would not be possible! To see more photos from this event, visit our Facebook page.
The Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau board would like to thank the following farms and businesses. Without their continued support, this event would not be possible:
