Highland County Farm Bureau hosts 2025 Policy Development Meeting

Local cattle producers gathered at United Producers in Hillsboro for a Beef Producer BQA Certification and Calving Clinic Feb. 18, 2025. Producers had the opportunity to earn their Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certification, a national program designed to ensure best management practices in cattle care, handling and welfare. The clinic featured a live calving demonstration by Dr. Caleb Bohrer and Dr. Wyatt Krom of Bohrer Vet Services.
Hosted by United Producers, Inc., Highland County Farm Bureau, OSU Extension Highland County, Ohio Cattleman’s Association, Highland Feed and Supply and Bohrer Vet, this meeting and each monthly meeting prior have been organized by Tim Sheeley, a Highland County Farm Bureau board trustee. We appreciate his continued efforts to bring education and knowledge to our local farming community!
