Highland County Farm Bureau board trustees, Evan Davis, president; Greg Tholen, vice president; and Andrew Davis, joined fellow members from across Ohio at the Ohio Statehouse on Feb. 19 for Ag Day at the Capital. The event, hosted by Ohio Farm Bureau, provided an opportunity for members to engage with legislators and discuss key priorities affecting Ohio agriculture.
These local leaders met with lawmakers to share firsthand experiences and advocate for policies that support the future of farming and rural communities. Ag Day at the Capital is a crucial event where Farm Bureau members ensure the voices of farmers are heard in the legislative process. By participating, Highland County members helped shape discussions on issues impacting area agriculture.
