On March 6, 2025, the Clermont County Farm Bureau held its annual Policy Development Meeting with 12 attendees discussing key agricultural concerns. Topics included alternative farming options, the rising cost of farm insurance policies, and hardships faced by farms with chickens. Beekeepers expressed concerns over hive losses, while attendees also highlighted the importance of mental health support in the agricultural community. The need to pass the farm bill was a major focus, emphasizing its impact on local farmers.
