Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau established the Betty Hansen Memorial Scholarship Program in 1992 to honor Betty Hansen for her leadership to the organization as a former president and board member of the Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau and her lifetime profession as a greenhouse farmer in Cuyahoga County. Another opportunity is the Cuyahoga Farm Bureau / Cuyahoga County Fair Partnership Scholarship. All criteria for the Partnership scholarship and application process can be found on the Cuyahoga Fair website or the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation website. Deadline for this scholarship is July 1, 2022.
Both scholarship applications are online only.
Eligibility and approval of applicants will be determined at the discretion of the Cuyahoga County Board of Trustees or their designee.
No handwritten forms will be accepted.
Applications for the Betty Hansen scholarships must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2022. For more information, contact the county Farm Bureau office at 440-877-0706.
