2022 Allen County Fair

We kicked off the 2022 fair season with our annual T-shirt giveaway, distributing 750 T-shirts to our 4-H and FFA livestock participants.

Then, all fair week fairgoers came to our food stand for delicious food and handspun milkshakes! Unfortunately Kids Dream Day was cancelled due to weather conditions, but we concluded the week hosting the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce Real American Sunrise Breakfast.

Special thanks to our daily sponsors/volunteers in the our food stand:

Howard Hanna Real Estate Services
Golden Reserve,  Amanda 4-H Club
deStar, Clover Patch 4-H Club
District 78 House Rep. Susan Manchester, Liberty Christian 4-H Club
Block Insurance, Sharp Shooters 4-H Club, Magistrate John R Payne, Edward Jones
Gerber Insurance and Financial Services, County Commissioner Beth Seibert
and Barn Busters 4-H Club.

To grow a network and gain perspective and knowledge in the industry through personal and professional development has been invaluable. Every day I learn and grow.

Henry County Farm Bureau

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
