Monroe County Farm Bureau holds Annual Meeting

The students were able to see all the ingredients that are needed to make a pizza, such as wheat, milk, peppers, cheese, sauce, and ingredients to make the dough. At the end of the demonstration, each student was given a piece of pizza to enjoy along with a goodie bag with various items.
Other educational topics during the field day included electricity, honey bees, pollination, recycling, deer and turkey calls, and furs and pelts.
Presenters for the event included Noble SWCD, Monroe County OSU Extension office, the Monroe County wildlife officer, Monroe County Herb Group, Monroe County Farm Bureau, South East Ohio Joint Solid Waste Management District, South Central Power, and ODNR-Division of Forestry.
Other county Farm Bureau volunteers who helped were Steve Burkhart, Mark Landefeld, John Lusk, and Stacy Sharp.
